Pediatric Care From Birth Through Adolescence

At CLS Health pediatrics, we understand that entrusting the care of your child to someone else is one of the hardest things you will ever have to do. We promise to always provide the highest quality of pediatric care and service. We are passionate about kids and their families, and we strive to create a positive impact in the lives of those we serve. Our pediatricians are experienced and compassionate, and our clinic is conveniently located near I-45 and Clear Lake Regional Medical Center. We offer accessible pediatric care and a child-friendly environment. Our goal is to provide exceptional health care and responsive service to the families we serve.

At our pediatric clinic, we understand that your child’s health is important to you. That’s why we offer a full range of pediatric care services, including pediatric telemedicine, kids covid testing, prenatal visits for expectant parents, well-child check-ups, immunizations, and sick appointments. We also have a walk-in clinic for increased convenience for our patients with acute illnesses. Plus, the majority of labs are performed in the clinic so that you won’t be sent to other facilities for these tests. Most lab results are available through the Quest Diagnostics Patient Portal listed below; the lab facilities will be determined by your insurance company. So if you’re looking for high-quality pediatric care, look no further than our clinic. We’re here to help your child – and you – every step of the way.

Pediatric FAQ

How long should a child go to a pediatrician?
Most practices will see children until they’re 18, and some will attend to them up to age 21.
What questions should I ask my doctor?
  • How do I know if I’m feeding my baby enough?
  • How should I safely bathe my baby and how often?
  • How do I trim those itty-bitty nails?
  • How do I make certain my baby’s sleep environment is safe?
How often does a child need a checkup?

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recommends seven well-child visits between the ages of one and four. After four years of age, it’s recommended that children visit the pediatrician for an annual check-up.

What is the difference between a pediatrician and a family doctor?
Both pediatricians and family doctors are medical experts, but a pediatrician is able to offer a deeper level of knowledge and expertise when it comes to your child’s health care.
