Vaccine Clinics in Houston and Surrounding Cities

Vaccination is essential to maintaining overall health and preventing the spread of infectious diseases. At CLS Health, our primary care team provides thorough and personalized immunization services to protect you and your family.

Comprehensive Immunization Services in Houston

CLS Health offers comprehensive vaccination services as part of our preventive care. With immunization clinics in Houston across various convenient locations, we ensure patients of all ages have access to vaccinations that protect against common and serious infectious diseases in the community.

Influenza Vaccine (Flu Shot)

The flu vaccine is recommended annually to protect against the flu. The flu vaccine is updated each year to combat the most common influenza virus strains expected that season. Getting a flu shot in Houston annually helps reduce the risk of flu-related complications, especially for vulnerable populations.

MMR Vaccine

The MMR vaccine protects against three serious diseases: measles, mumps, and rubella. Measles is a highly contagious viral infection that can lead to severe health complications. Mumps can cause painful swelling of the salivary glands. Rubella can cause birth defects if a woman contracts it while pregnant. The MMR vaccination is typically administered in childhood, but unvaccinated adults should receive it.

HPV Vaccine

The HPV vaccine protects against the human papillomavirus, which can lead to cervical cancer, genital warts, and other types of cancers, including those of the throat, anus, and penis. The vaccine is most effective when administered before individuals become sexually active, typically recommended for preteens (boys and girls) at age 11 or 12. Still, it can also be given to adults up to 45.

Allergy Shots (Immunotherapy)

Allergy shots are used to treat allergic reactions to environmental allergens such as pollen, mold, dust mites, and pet danger. These shots help desensitize the immune system to specific allergens over time, reducing the severity of reactions. Allergy shots are typically administered regularly over a period of several months to years.

COVID-19 Vaccine in Houston

Updated COVID-19 vaccines are available across Greater Houston for everyone 6 months and older. CLS Health clinics offer Pfizer and Moderna options and follow current CDC guidance on timing and booster doses by age and risk. Same-day and family appointments are available at multiple locations; bring a photo ID and any prior vaccine record. If you’re unsure what you or your child needs, our team will confirm eligibility and recommend the next dose based on your history.

RSV Vaccine

The RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) vaccine is recommended for high-risk groups to protect against severe infection. RSV is a common respiratory virus that usually causes mild, cold-like symptoms. However, it can lead to severe respiratory illness in certain populations, including bronchiolitis and pneumonia.
