Providers
A Primary Care Provider (PCP) is your first point of contact for managing your overall health. Typically, a PCP is a family medicine or internal medicine physician. Internal medicine physicians specialize in treating patients aged 16 and older, while family medicine physicians care for patients from as young as two months old.
A PCP can also be a nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA), who is fully qualified to diagnose and treat illnesses as well as provide preventive care. Your PCP plays a vital role in your healthcare, delivering comprehensive care in non-emergency situations. Whether you need routine checkups, treatment for an illness, or guidance on staying healthy, your PCP is there to support you.
Your primary care provider (PCP) is your partner in health who supports you with:
- Preventive care: Regular check-ups, screenings, and immunizations.
- Disease management: Diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care for acute and chronic illnesses.
- Personalized care: Tailored treatment plans and consistent guidance.
- Comprehensive care: Addressing a wide range of health concerns.
- Convenient access: Walk-in and same-day appointments for immediate care.
- Peace of mind: Knowing you have a dedicated healthcare provider.
