Conditions Treated
Our cardiologists diagnose and treat congenital and structural heart issues such as atrial septal defects (ASD), mitral valve disease, aortic stenosis, and structural heart disease. Using advanced imaging and minimally invasive techniques, we assess valve function, repair defects, and restore healthy blood flow. Care plans may include valve repair or replacement, TAVR, or catheter-based interventions tailored to your needs.
We provide comprehensive care for irregular heart rhythms, including atrial fibrillation (AFib), supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), bradycardia, and ventricular tachycardia (VT). Diagnosis often begins with EKG and heart rhythm monitoring, followed by medication management, cardioversion, or catheter ablation to restore a normal heartbeat. Our team also manages pacemaker and defibrillator optimization for long-term rhythm control.
Our cardiology team treats complex heart conditions such as coronary artery disease (CAD), heart failure, pericardial disease, cardiomyopathy, and ischemic heart disease. Using cardiac imaging, stress testing, and angiography, we identify blocked arteries or weakened heart muscle. Treatments range from angioplasty and stenting to advanced heart failure therapies, helping patients regain heart strength and function.
We evaluate and treat vein & artery conditions such as peripheral vascular disease, varicose veins, carotid artery stenosis, and critical limb ischemia to improve circulation and reduce pain. Diagnostic testing includes vascular ultrasound and noninvasive screening for early detection. Treatment options may involve angioplasty, stenting, or vein ablation to restore healthy blood flow and prevent complications.
Diagnostics and Imaging
Routine blood testing helps your cardiologist evaluate cholesterol, triglycerides, and other lipid levels that affect heart health. These results guide prevention and treatment plans for conditions like coronary artery disease and high blood pressure. Regular lab testing supports early detection and long-term cardiovascular management.
Our team uses non-invasive imaging to assess how your heart functions without surgery. Tests such as EKG, echocardiogram, nuclear stress imaging, PET scans, cardiac MRI, and CT scans help identify blockages, valve problems, and heart muscle weakness. These advanced studies provide a complete view of your heart’s structure and blood flow for accurate diagnosis and care planning.
To diagnose irregular heartbeats or unexplained symptoms, we use Holter and event monitors that record your heart rhythm over time. For patients with implanted devices, we perform pacemaker and defibrillator (ICD) optimization and loop recorder monitoring to ensure proper function. Continuous monitoring helps detect arrhythmias early and guide personalized treatment.
Our vascular testing evaluates blood flow in your arteries and veins to detect circulation problems early. Using vascular ultrasound and noninvasive screening, we identify conditions like peripheral artery disease or carotid artery narrowing before they become serious. These tests help prevent stroke, leg pain, and other vascular complications.
Advanced Procedures
For patients with rhythm disorders, our electrophysiology team provides advanced care through cardioversion, catheter ablation, pacemaker implantation, and ICD placement. These minimally invasive procedures correct abnormal electrical signals and reduce the risk of stroke or sudden cardiac events. Continuous monitoring ensures long-term heart rhythm stability and safety.
Our interventional cardiologists perform minimally invasive procedures such as cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and stenting to open blocked arteries and restore blood flow. For complex valve disease, we offer transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) as a less invasive alternative to open-heart surgery. These treatments often lead to faster recovery and improved heart performance.
We specialize in robotic-assisted and minimally invasive cardiac surgeries, including mitral valve repair, vein ablation, and heart valve replacement. These techniques allow for smaller incisions, less pain, and quicker recovery times while maintaining surgical precision and safety.
Our advanced programs support patients with chronic or severe heart failure through cardiac rehabilitation, LVAD therapy, and personalized medication management. For structural heart issues, treatments such as valve repair or replacement help improve circulation and reduce symptoms, supporting long-term heart health and quality of life.
When surgery is required, our cardiac surgeons perform coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and heart transplant procedures using leading-edge technology and compassionate care. Each surgical plan is customized to improve heart function, restore circulation, and enhance long-term outcomes.
Specialty Treatments
Our specialists focus on women’s cardiovascular health, including pregnancy-related heart issues and microvascular disease. We offer tailored prevention, diagnostic, and treatment plans to address unique risk factors and promote lifelong heart wellness.
We diagnose and treat varicose veins, venous insufficiency, and arterial disorders that can cause pain, swelling, or circulation problems. Our minimally invasive procedures — including vein ablation and angioplasty — improve vascular health and enhance mobility.
Our preventive cardiology program helps patients reduce risk through cholesterol and blood pressure management, lifestyle counseling, and personalized heart health assessments. Early detection and proactive care are key to maintaining long-term cardiovascular wellness.
Our cardio-oncology specialists monitor and manage heart health in patients undergoing cancer treatment. We focus on early detection and prevention of cardiac complications, coordinating care with oncology teams to ensure safe, comprehensive treatment.

FAQs
Maintaining heart health requires a well-rounded approach that includes regular exercise, a nutrient-rich diet, and weight management. Quitting smoking and moderating alcohol intake are essential, while stress reduction, quality sleep, and routine health screenings further support long-term cardiovascular wellness.
Eating clean for heart health involves prioritizing nutrient-rich foods. Focus on whole foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Limit processed foods, sugary drinks, and excessive sodium. Choose healthy fats like olive oil and avocados. Increase fiber intake from sources like legumes and oats. Stay hydrated with water. Control portion sizes to maintain a healthy weight. By adopting these dietary principles, you can significantly lower your risk of cardiovascular diseases.
Cholesterol significantly impacts heart health. High levels of LDL ("bad") cholesterol contribute to plaque buildup in arteries, increasing the risk of heart disease. HDL ("good") cholesterol helps remove LDL, reducing this risk. Elevated total cholesterol levels also increase cardiovascular risk. Maintaining a healthy cholesterol balance through a nutritious diet, regular exercise, and, if necessary, medication is crucial for preventing heart disease.
Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) risk factors include high blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking, diabetes, obesity, and a sedentary lifestyle. Genetics and family history also play a role. Age and gender further influence risk, with men generally at higher risk earlier in life. Managing these risk factors through lifestyle changes and medical interventions can help prevent CAD.
Lowering high blood pressure naturally starts with healthy lifestyle habits. Eating a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains while reducing sodium intake can help regulate blood pressure. Regular physical activity, maintaining a healthy weight, and limiting alcohol consumption also play key roles. Managing stress through meditation or yoga, quitting smoking, and routinely monitoring your blood pressure can further support long-term heart health and effective blood pressure control.
Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) is an irregular heart rhythm that increases stroke risk. Treatment options include medications to control heart rate and prevent blood clots, cardioversion to reset the heart's rhythm, and catheter ablation to destroy abnormal heart tissue. Lifestyle changes, such as stress management and maintaining a healthy weight are also important. In some cases, a pacemaker may be implanted. Early diagnosis and treatment of AFib can prevent complications.
Recognizing heart attack symptoms early is crucial. Common signs include chest pain or discomfort (pressure, squeezing, or fullness), shortness of breath, upper body pain (arms, back, neck, jaw, or stomach), nausea or vomiting, cold sweats, and dizziness. If you or someone else experiences these symptoms, seek immediate emergency medical attention.
