Restore Your Vision with Precision Surgery and Personalized Care
Cataracts can cloud your sight and limit how you live. Our ophthalmologists perform cataract surgery to help restore visual clarity and improve how you see every day. With a wide range of lens options available, we work with you to align your treatment with your goals.
What Cataract Surgery Involves
Cataract surgery is a quick outpatient procedure. The cloudy natural lens of your eye is removed and replaced with a clear artificial lens, called an intraocular lens (IOL). Most procedures take less than 30 minutes per eye and are performed under local anesthesia.
Explore Your Lens Options
Your lens choice can shape your vision for years to come. We offer a full range of options to match different needs, lifestyles, and prescriptions.
Monofocal IOLs
A standard lens that improves distance vision. Patients typically still need glasses for reading or close-up work.
Multifocal IOLs
Offers near and far focus, reducing the need for reading glasses. May create some halos or glare at night.
Trifocal IOLs
Delivers sharp vision at all distances, especially improving intermediate range—ideal for patients who want greater independence from corrective lenses.
EDOF (Extended Depth of Field) IOLs
Provides continuous vision across distances with fewer optical disturbances than traditional multifocal lenses.
Toric IOLs
Designed to correct astigmatism, helping patients with this condition achieve sharper, clearer vision after cataract surgery.
Adjust Your Vision After Surgery with Light Adjustable Lenses
For patients seeking a high level of precision and personalization, we offer the Light Adjustable Lens system.
LAL
The Light Adjustable Lens allows your vision to be fine-tuned after surgery through non-invasive UV light treatments. Adjustments are made once the eye has healed to deliver highly tailored results. Patients must wear UV-blocking glasses during the healing period and attend several light adjustment visits.
LAL+
An advanced version of the LAL, this lens offers expanded adjustability, improved correction of astigmatism, and greater independence from glasses at all distances.
Our clinic is among the few in the region trained to offer this cutting-edge lens technology.
What to Expect
Comprehensive Evaluation
We begin with a full diagnostic workup and a discussion of your vision priorities—whether it’s driving, reading, reducing glasses, or correcting astigmatism.
Lens Selection
You’ll receive expert guidance on all lens options. Our team helps you weigh the visual outcomes, potential trade-offs, and out-of-pocket costs.
Surgery
Cataract surgery is performed in-office or at a nearby surgery center. It is safe, fast, and typically pain-free.
Recovery
Most patients notice improvement within 48 to 72 hours. Full recovery may take a few weeks. Light Adjustable Lens patients return for scheduled light treatments once healing is complete.
Follow-Up Care
We monitor your progress closely and build follow-up into your plan to ensure proper healing and excellent outcomes.
