The CLS Health Career Academy was created to prepare the next generation of Medical Assistants through a combination of classroom instruction, simulation labs, and hands-on clinical experience. Curriculum Overview
Weeks 1–8 — Classroom & Skills Development
Students complete hybrid coursework while developing foundational clinical and administrative skills through classroom instruction and simulation labs.
Weeks 9–12 — Clinical Externship
Students complete a supervised 160-hour externship within designated CLS Health clinics, applying their knowledge in real patient care settings.
Program Completion
Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion and are prepared to sit for the National Healthcareer Association Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification exam.

- Be able to successfully complete classroom, laboratory, and clinical training requirements
- Commit to the full 12-week program
