Milestone marks two decades of growth, innovation, and community-focused healthcare
HOUSTON, TEXAS / CLS Health / November 11, 2025 — CLS Health—one of the region’s largest physician-owned and physician-led medical groups—is celebrating 20 years of delivering high-quality, patient-first care to families across the Greater Houston area. Founded in 2005 by two physicians determined to build a healthcare system guided by clinical judgment rather than corporate control, CLS Health has grown to over 225 providers across more than 45 locations and 45 specialties.
A Vision That Put Physicians Back in Charge of Patient Care
CLS Health was built on a simple belief: when physicians lead, patients benefit.
For two decades, the organization has empowered doctors to make care decisions based solely on what’s best for patients—leading to faster, more coordinated, and more compassionate experiences across specialties. This approach has proven especially valuable as the organization expands services in cardiology, eye care, neurology, OB/GYN, orthopedics, pediatrics, podiatry, urology, and more.
“Twenty years ago, CLS Health set out to prove that when physicians lead, patients win,” said CEO Megan Owen. “Today, our growth across Greater Houston reflects that promise. We are proud to deliver care that is personal, accessible, and guided by the people who know patients best.”
