Advanced Practice Provider Residency Program
The CLS Health APP Primary Care Residency Program is designed to deliver a comprehensive 3-month clinical and educational experience for newly graduated Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs).

Residents gain hands-on training across CLS Health’s primary care clinics, with an emphasis on continuity of care. The program features didactic sessions, individualized mentorship, and structured evaluations focused on quality, safety, and efficiency, preparing residents to thrive in the value-based care model.

Eligible Applicants: Please submit your application materials via email to APP-Residency@cls.health If you have missed the deadline, you may still apply to be placed on the waitlist for the current cohort or considered for the next cohort.
Eligibility
- New graduates (within 18 months) from accredited NP or PA programs
- Completion of the National board examination as an NP/PA
- Current Texas state license as an NP/PA
- For nurse practitioners, active registered nurse license
- Pass the employment background check
- No prior employment history as a nurse practitioner

Selection Process
Qualified applicants will be invited to a virtual interview and if successful, will be invited to an in-person interview with program leadership. Selections are based on clinical aptitude, communication skills, and alignment with CLS Health’s mission of patient-centered care.
Program Leadership

Dr. Dipal Patel, DNP, FNP
Dipal Patel is a board-certified acute care and family nurse practitioner who holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. She serves as a pulmonary critical care nurse practitioner at CLS Health and is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Dipal considers it a true privilege to care for critically ill patients. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate, and patient-centered care with the goal of helping patients recover and return to their daily lives as quickly and safely as possible.

Nadin Farid, FNP-C
Nadin Farid is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at CLS Health, serving the communities of Clear Lake and Sugar Land, from children to adults. Fluent in both Arabic and English, she is dedicated to revolutionizing patient engagement within the healthcare system.
Her approach emphasizes holistic care, spearheaded through innovative nurse-led initiatives, aiming to enhance the overall health outcomes of her patients.
