Ghyath Samman, MD, has been serving the Clear Lake area for 20 years. He completed his Internal Medicine training at the University of Iowa, Cardiology training at Louisiana State University, and Interventional Cardiology training at the Indiana Heart Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also completed his Peripheral Interventional training at the Indiana Heart Institute. Dr. Samman is board-certified and performs all aspects of coronary intervention, including high-risk cases. He performs structural heart disease procedures such as PFO closure and TAVR. He performs pacemaker and defibrillator placement and post-placement care. He performs venous insufficiency studies and venous ablations. In addition, Dr. Samman is licensed to perform and interpret nuclear cardiology. He performs in-office nuclear stress tests, regular stress tests, echocardiograms, carotid dopplers, and venous and arterial dopplers. Dr. Samman also performs invasive procedures involving the carotid, subclavian, renal, iliac, and lower extremity vessels and subsequent intervention.
